About the Training
Rooted in the rich legacy of faith-led movements for justice, this foundational session will introduce participants to key frameworks, shared language, and practical tools for building and sustaining interfaith networks committed to disciplined, strategic, and morally grounded nonviolent action.
This virtual training marks the beginning of a broader national initiative to equip local interfaith cohorts for ongoing collaboration, learning, and action. Following this introductory session, organizers are seeking to partner with state and regional faith networks to form on-the-ground cohorts that will continue training, relationship-building, and coordinated engagement throughout 2026 and beyond.
We can build a California cohort of faith leaders around this effort, which ties in closely with our ongoing work to confront Christian Nationalism and promote a just, inclusive public witness of faith. I encourage you to consider forming or supporting a similar cohort in your own or region if this aligns with your mission and capacity.
