Dear friends,
April 20 is Easter Sunday, a day we hold the hope of the world in our hearts.
It may also mean the largest threat to American optimism and freedom we have ever seen since the Civil War.
We are sharing a post from our allies at the Interfaith Alliance on what the possibilities are for the imposition of the 1807 Insurrection Act on or around Easter Sunday. It is a positive statement of our people’s strength, no matter what, and we want to share it with you:
April 20th and the Insurrection Act: How to Be Prepared (interfaithalliance.org) by the Rev. Paul Brandeis Raushenbush.
We are here. We are not going away. Keep hope and faith alive no matter what comes.
